Kids Pastor
Overview
CLM is a vibrant, diverse, inter-generational, multi-site church with sites in Coventry and Northampton. We are recruiting a full-time Kid’s Pastor to bring oversight to the work with under 11’s at CLM’s Central Site, to ensure an excellent experience for children and their families.
CLM is a church rooted in Biblical teaching, with a passion for the Presence of God, seeking to help all those who belong, to grow in their faith. For our under 11’s, we want to create safe environments for this which are fun and where friendships are nurtured and encouraged.
Vision
CLM’s Kids Pastor will carry a passion and creativity for helping kids to connect with God for themselves alongside the skills and tenacity to build and to develop team using the CLM Kid’s Leadership Pathway.
As a growing, multi-site church, we are developing kids work at all CLM sites, with a part-time Kid's Pastor at CLM North and a Volunteer Kids Lead at CLM Northampton. Whilst those roles report directly into their Site Pastors, this role carries the scope to bring influence across all sites through the creation of curriculum and resources that can be used across the board at all current and any new sites. There is opportunity to develop and input to settings for collaboration and mutual encouragement across kids work at different sites in this next season.
Once established in role, there are opportunities to develop the ministries, with after-school or holiday clubs and working in partnership with CLM’s school's worker.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone passionate to see God’s Kingdom come among kids; to be involved in the growth and discipleship of children and adults both within and beyond the church; to grow, develop, and to bring and to be part of the CLM Staff Team as we grow and lead into the next season of the exciting and expansive vision that God has given us.
Working days | Full time | 37.5 hours, working days Sunday to Thursday.
Flexibility | Consideration will be given to part-time applications (Sundays required)
Reporting into | Under 25’s Ministries Overseer, (currently covered by Kim Legate)
Role | Permanent position - subject to a satisfactory DBS checks and six-month ` ‘ probationary period.
Salary (FTE) | £29,500 to £35,000 dependant on qualifications, experience and capability.
