Overview
The Levi Worship Academy is designed for anyone seeking to grow in worship — not just experienced musicians or those already on team. One of the primary focuses of the Academy is to develop musical and vocal competence, while also grounding participants in biblical foundations, spiritual formation, and a heart to serve God with excellence in worship spaces.
How the Academy Works
Our courses are modular and pathway-based, enabling participants to progress through clearly defined levels at their own pace. Training combines biblical foundations of worship, practical, creative and musical skills, and intentional personal formation, ensuring learning is both meaningful and applicable. All sessions are delivered in person, fostering community, collaboration, and hands-on growth.
Sessions are led by skilled tutors with many years of experience across worship ministry, the creative arts, and the wider music and production industries. Our tutors bring a rich cultural diversity and a wide range of specialist expertise, offering students depth, perspective, and excellence in every area of learning.
While many modules directly support worship and production ministry within CLM, the Academy also warmly welcomes individuals who are not seeking to serve on a team but are passionate about growing creatively and spiritually.
The Levi Worship Academy exists to nurture confident, capable, and humble Creatives — people who pursue excellence, value growth, and cultivate a deep love for the presence of God.
We have crafted Training Modules for Keyboards, Singers, Guitar, Bass, Drums & Worship Leaders. We are also planning to include pathways for Sound Engineers and Media Operators in due course.
Please see below for the Training Module dates for 2026. Sign-up for a number of these is now open via the links below.

DEEPER - Worship Foundations is a Core Pathway for all participants in the Levi Worship Academy.
This pathway forms the theological, spiritual, and discipleship backbone of the Levi Worship Academy and is a required pathway for all Academy participants, regardless of discipline.
Delivered across four progressive levels, this pathway is designed to establish a deep, biblical, and sustainable understanding of worship that shapes both personal devotion and public ministry. Session 1 will be delivered in person, with Sessions 2-4 delivered by video.
DEEPER ensures that all practical training within the Academy flows from a strong theological and devotional foundation, helping participants lead and serve from proximity, not performance, and from identity, intimacy, and not just activity.

The Worship Leadership Module equips worship leaders to lead with spiritual depth, pastoral awareness, and musical confidence, grounded in intimacy with God rather than performance. Across four progressive levels, students explore the biblical foundations and spiritual posture of worship leadership, learning to prioritise presence before activity and devotion before delivery.
Participants grow in pastoral leadership, healthy team culture, prayerful discernment, and the skills needed to lead worship with sensitivity and maturity. As the pathway progresses, students develop confidence in service flow, song selection, transitions, spontaneous moments, and collaborative leadership alongside meeting leaders and music directors.
Alongside spiritual formation, the module offers hands-on training in essential worship leadership tools, including basic music theory for worship contexts (such as the Nashville Number System), effective use of Planning Center for scheduling and communication, and a thoughtful introduction to using tracks and stems (e.g. Ableton Live and Multitracks), always with the goal of serving the room and creating space for God’s presence.
The final level focuses on multiplying leaders, mentoring others, cultivating creative expression, and helping build sustainable, Spirit-led worship ministries. Each level includes assessment designed to strengthen character, spiritual formation, and practical leadership in real church settings.
Please note: The Worship Leadership Module is by invitation only and is available exclusively to members of the CLM Worship Team, as part of their ongoing development and leadership formation.
