Christian Life Ministries (CLM) is a vibrant, multi-cultural Pentecostal church, with over 40 nationalities represented. We believe in the risen Jesus Christ, who died and rose again on the third day. We believe in the three persons of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As a church we feel that the gospel proclaimed by Jesus Christ is as relevant today as the day it was first made known.
CLM is an active church both in the community and internationally. We have planted churches in Pakistan as well as an Asian and French church in Coventry. CLM is very much a family church, with children, young people, students, families and the elderly all drawn from across the city and surrounding areas. Our vision statement is based on 4 E's:
• Exalt the Lord
• Equip the church,
• Evangelise the Lost
• Encourage others
The church has maintained a strong presence in the city over the last 70 years, but has seen exceptional growth during the past 2-3 years. This has led to the instigation of two consecutive services on Sunday mornings to cope with the numbers attending. On a Sunday, there has been significant growth amongst the African component of the congregation, predominantly during the second service. Also, the children’s and youth work has also been expanding on both a Friday night and a Sunday morning.
Christian Life Ministries also has a business arm called CLM Enterprises Ltd which primarily provides a conferencing facility and a community venue. This has shown exceptional growth over the last 5 years, currently averaging 60 conferences per month, with each conference serving from 10 to 150 delegates. The church is an independent Charity and is affiliated with Assemblies of God - Great Britain and Ireland and has been on the present site since 1936.
